I learned something new yesterday. I read my client's dead brother. I could feel his energy, but it was removed in some way. I couldn't get a grip on him. I knew he was around, but I didn't get the rush up my leg. I didn't feel the love that makes me teary-eyed, that often happens when two people are closely connected.
What I did feel was that his energy was encapsulated. He was withdrawn, protective of himself. He had surrounded himself within a protective shield and now didn't know how or didn't want to remove it. My client finally helped me out. Her brother was an addict.
As a child, Ray was filled with life, fun and good humor. He grew up feeling infallible. He thought he could live forever and playing with drugs was just one more way to participate in adulthood. Unfortunately, his natural belief in himself and his abilities in the physical, didn't prepare him for his proclivity to being caught in the inescapable dopamine burst of what appeared to be joy. It turned out to be the opposite.
Ray passed on several years ago. His family lives with the anger and pain of a wasted life. Once caught in the web of addiction, there was no easy way out. Ray was not strong enough to fight for the right to live. Instead he was caught in the web of a brained hooked on a synthetic rush that created a short-lived elation before the crash.
His sister is a compassion woman. Together we opened our hearts to feel our love for Ray, the brother of her childhood. He was unable to allow us in. What he did allow, however, was for us to surround his very closed-in energy field with Light. It felt as if we packed him in the Light, so that he would be able to build his energy. Our goal was that one day he would open up to feel the Power within that he mistook in life for physical power. His interior energy remained weak, almost wispy. There was nothing for him to hold onto to grow his way out. At least now, his energy will not disperse more.
When he chooses, Ray will be able to build on strengthening himself until one day he feels whole enough to give life in a body another try.
