Heart Connections

Yesterday my half-sister Ev's ashes were scattered on a hilltop in New York State.  

I could have returned for the 30 minute hilltop gathering.  There was to be no formal ceremony.  "Just a few friends and family," her son said.  "It's no big deal.  I don't know why so many are coming," he said.  Neither did I, until now.

After all, Ev was 95 when she passed on. She was loved and cared for in a way we could all only hope to be.  My rationale was that my birth sister and I returned for a visit twice yearly and I had already rescheduled my workshop once for that day.

I made a mistake.  In retrospect, I would have been happier crying one more time over the friend that I lost in a body, instead of feeling remorse over staying home.

I didn't pay much attention to Ev when she was younger. We only became friends once she was too weak to take care of herself.  I am told, she was a brilliant biochemist as well as the mother and wife that I recognized.  Now she has two deceased husbands.

There's a hole in my heart ... here, where I'm pointing.  Here are the unshed tears for a woman I didn't know until she was unable to speak for seven plus years. Ev learned to communicate through her eyes and her heart.

She spoke clearly telepathically once we all got the hang of it. The first time I knew for sure was when I was sitting alone with her while she appeared to sleep. I put my hands over her body and cleared her energy field, all the while loving her intensely.  All of a sudden she opened her eyes, looked directly into mine,  and smiled.  Thank you Ev.  It is what I hold today. 

The Angels share that we communicate exactly this way when we are "dead."  There is no miscommunication in the heart. You either love or you don't.  Ev taught me that.  I honor her today.  

In this physical world we make so much noise we forget the inner beauty and depth of wisdom that comes from the stillness.  Ev taught me there is love to be found in the quiet spaces. 

Today I see her smiling, surrounded with her men - our shared Dad, whom we adored, her first husband, who made us all laugh, and her second husband who died soon after they had found each others souls. 

Watching over you

The Angels love to babble when my body is captive in bed.  This  morning was no different.

Many times I will hear that your deceased Mom or Dad, or friend is "watching over you."  What the Angels say is that the dead are not so different from us. Of course they are pure energy, minus the weight of the physical body.  The dead are able to "tune into" our feelings including those times when we relive a part of our shared lives.

This a.m. at predawn, my Dad, who died in 1969, showed up laughing.  There he was. In Switzerland, his homeland, giggling as a boy.   Daddy loved to tell us the story of catching eels in the stream for dinner and then watching as they squirmed in the hot pan for dinner.  Gruesome to me, a sheltered N.J. kid whose food came from the local market.

This morning, my much-loved Dad was as real as if he was sitting next to me telling me the story which I had asked about many times.  The Angels explain that the love we shared and still share, is what keeps us connected.  Daddy is able to connect with me in my half sleep/awake state because I am open then and the normal busyness of life is not consuming me.

The dead read our availability, just like we intuitively read our friends and family in life. When you are sad and missing your deceased loved ones, they are able, if they choose, to offer you the love that you crave. You are not making it up. They are here, with you, in spirit, literally.

The Angels insist that the dead are not. They are here in the form of energy.  Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they are not connected to you.  In our physical form, we think in terms of 100% or zero, either/or.  In spirit form, we can send 10% of our energy over to little Billy and another 20% over to Mom and still have plenty left over to take care of ourselves.  This is a learned process, but one we inadvertently practice without the same success in the body.

Think about how many times you have been with someone when your mind wandered.  Are you fully present?  Probably not.  Our mind takes us to the game we're watching later, or the lunch date with our friend, or our unaccomplished work still piled up.  That might leave 5-10% with your current friend right now.  Ever been accused of not listening?

The dead are able to "multitask" with ease.  The difference is the dead are fully present with each activity.

 

What is Hell?

After stating publicly on this site that I seemed to be complete in blogging on the dead, new things keep coming up. Forgive me for my idiosyncrasies. 

"What is Hell and Who goes?" asks Revelife, a Christian site that popped up on my Goggle Alert for "afterlife." The options presented were all viable, but not what the Angels share with me. Right or wrong, here's what I'm told.

There is no Hell/hell except in your mind.  Hell is not fire and flames, unless you live in the Western U.S., where the flames steal lives as well as memories.

If you have tortured, murdered, or seriously abused another while on earth, you will carry that person with you not just through this life, but through your continuation of life in death.

The Afterlife does not reflect an eye for an eye. However, you will be isolated.  The Angels say you will be a "floater." 

You will see the Light but not experience it in your personal prison camp. You will experience the suffering of not just the person whose life you took or harmed seriously,  but also the pain of their friends and family. You will live this agony in a continually running assault of feelings and not share in the loving support of others. (The Angels are quick to share that if you were in the military, the situation is different.)

The challenge of the dead killer of life is an intensified, never-ending and excruciatingly harrowing experience. You will live in an ongoing barrage of grief and terror until one day you choose to surrender. Through surrender comes forgiveness.  Forgiving yourself. Forgiving others. Forgiving God.  In your willingness to ford the river of shame and hatred, you will be given the opportunity to move out of your isolation and begin life on earth again, if you choose.

David Hawkins, in "Healing and Recovery," explains:  "At the bottom levels of consciousness are situations of lose-lose.  People lose, and those who become associated with them lose."

This is the pain of hell in life. In death, the continuation of life without the body, the pain continues.  Instead of being surrounded with those you love, you toss and turn, alone and empty, haunted by your own personal demons. You are left to feel the agony of those you killed and tortured. There is no end until you, the abuser of life, open to forgiving and being forgiven.  

This is the myth of Sisyphus at its toughest.  Initially, we all begin life at its lowest level of consciousness, with the opportunity to evolve into opening our hearts and the realization that we are all one.

Who's she waving at?

One of my clients called me with a true story about her aunt, her baby girl, Bianca, and her dead Grandfather.  This loving Grandfather passed on within the year, and since my client and I had read him before he died, she wanted to share this story.

The baby, Bianca, has learned to wave, but never does so for strangers. Her waves are saved solely for her Mom, Dad, and two other close family members.  Mom was feeding Bianca in her high chair when the baby turned her head toward the left and started grinning and waving excitedly.  No one was in the room except Mom and Bianca.

Bianca loves to look at family photos. The interesting part is when she finds her Grandfather's picture, she points over and over again, asking "Who's that?"  Mom is certain her baby was looking at her Grandpa, and maybe Grandma as well.

The obvious question is, why should she be interested?  And, why just ask about Grandpa?  

The Angels explain that babies and very young children do not forget their spirit world friends. Perhaps Bianca still has the ability to see beyond what our third dimensional training says does not exist. 

What if what we think is all that is, isn't?
