Dad died 6 years ago. His adult daughter, Sharon, is anxious to
connect. It's immediately obvious that these two have a special
relationship. Dad is all smiles, filled with love for his much-admired
daughter. He's excited to spend time with his "little girl," no matter how
big she's grown. Dad's hugging her with his loving energy, hoping that she can sense his presence.
This is an enthusiastic reunion. Dad wants to be close. He was the kind of parent who had an "eye peeled," to make sure his girl was safe from harm.
With an arm around Sharon, he's stroking her hair. If she were a little tot again, he'd have her on his lap. Together they have bonded in a common trust and respect that comes from lifetimes of creating a loving family.
Dad doesn't want to interfere with Sharon's life, yet she never left his heart. This is the Dad we all want for our own.
